Teaser poster and release date set for Disney+ drama series “The Manipulated” starring Ji Chang-Wook and Do Kyung-Soo. The drama series is inspired by 2017 movie “Fabricated City,” which also starred Ji Chang-Wook, but tells a new revenge themed story with new characters. Caption on the teaser poster states “The day my life was fabricated, the race began.” Screenwriter Oh Sang-Ho also worked on both the 2017 movie “Fabricated City” and the new Disney+ drama series “The Manipulated.”

“The Manipulated” will consist of 12 total episodes and the first 4 episodes will be available to stream on November 5, 2025. Two episodes will follow each of the following four weeks.

Drama series is a remake of 2010 French film “Les Emotifs anonymes” and directed by Sho Tsukikawa (“Let Me Eat Your Pancreas“). Tasuku Emoto and Ken Watanabe are cast in movie “Kobikicho no Adauchi.” In addition, the first two teaser posters have been released for the film. The movie is based on 2023 novel “Kobikicho no Adauchi” by Sayako Nagai, which won the 169th Naoki Prize in 2023, and directed by Takashi Minamoto (“Tokyo Tower“). The mystery film is set during the Edo period and revolves around a killing that was purported to be a revenge murder.

“Kobikicho no Adauchi” will be released February 27, 2026.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Set in the Edo period, Kikunosuke is a young man with a beautiful appearance. He comes to Tokyo in search of someone who killed his father. On a snowy night, he finally confronts his enemy right next to the theater and successfully gets his revenge by killing that person. People praise Kikunosuke for that.

Kang Tae-Oh and Kim Se-Jeong are cast in MBC drama series “The Moon Flows In This River” (literal title). Also cast for major supporting character roles are Lee Sin-Young, Hong Su-Zu, & Jin Goo. The drama series will feature a romantic-fantasy period drama, with Kang Tae-Oh playing Crown Prince Lee Kang and Kim Se-Jeong playing Peddler Park Dal-Yi. They happen to get their souls swapped.

First teaser poster added for tvN drama series “Typhoon Family” starring Lee Joon-Ho & Kim Min-Ha. Teaser trailer added for Netflix drama series “Last Samurai Standing” starring Junichi Okada and Yumia Fujisaki. Drama series is based on novels “Ikusagami Ten” and “Ikusagami Ji” by Shogo Imamura. The story revolves around 292 samurais who assemble at a Kyoto temple at night. They are given wooden tags and informed that they can participate in a game with a large prize. They are to seize the tags of the other players by any means necessary. Newly announced cast members include Gaku Hamada, Taiiku Okazaki, Arata Iura, Tetsushi Tanaka and Ayumu Nakajima.

“Last Samurai Standing” will be available to stream from November 13, 2025.
