Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yeon Ji-Young (Lim Yoon-A) is a French chef with a cheerful and determined personality. One day, she wins a French cooking competition, but she somehow finds herself transported to the Joseon era. She happens to serve her food to King Lee Heon (Lee Chae-Min) of Joseon. He is the worst tyrant who wields absolute power. He does have extraordinary sense of taste. He is able to taste differences of food when even the weather changes. He happens to try Yeon Ji-Young’s food and likes what she made. He decides to take her to the royal palace and have her cook for him. Yeon Ji-Young, who was offered work at a Michelin 3-star rated restaurant in Paris, finds herself working for the tyrant King Lee Heon and presents fusion royal cuisine just for him.

Meanwhile, Kang Mok-Ju (Kang Han-Na) is King Lee Heon’s concubine. She is greedy and hides her endless ambition for power. Prince Jesan (Choi Gwi-Hwa) is a member of royal family. He is the most powerful political enemy of King Lee Heon.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Im Se-Ra was a popular celebrity, but she suddenly disappeared. 25 years later, she appears as Bong Cheong-Ja (Uhm Jung-Hwa), who is an ordinary middle-aged woman. She has lost the past 25 years of her memories. She prepares her tearful comeback show to regain her lost memories and her shining place. Meanwhile, Doggo Cheol (Song Seung-Heon) used to be an enthusiastic detective in the violent crimes department. Due to an unexpected incident, he was demoted to a traffic police officer. He then disguises himself as a manager and goes undercover, in hopes of returning to the violent crimes department. Teaser trailer 3 added for KBS2 drama series “My Girlfriend is the Man” starring Yoon San-Ha, Arin, and Yoo Jung-Hoo. Kim Ji-Eun is pretty and a warm-hearted woman. One day, she wakes up and finds herself changed to a man. She meets her boyfriend Park Yoon-Jae and explains her situation to him. She begins to use the male name Kim Ji-Hoon (Yoo Jung-Hoo) and learns how to live as a man from her boyfriend. Kim Ji-Eun and Park Yoon-Jae decide to not break up and to wait for her to return to her original female appearance to continue their relationship. They try to figure out a way to make that happen.

Main trailer and poster added for movie “A Pale View of Hills” starring Suzu Hirose and Fumi Nikaido. The human mystery film recently held its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section. The main trailer for the film begins with captions around the 6 second mark that states “‘Humans sometimes lie not to deceive others, but to fool themselves and turn a blind eye to the difficult truth.’ …Kazuo Ishiguro.” The quote is by author Kazuo Ishiguro, who wrote the original novel “A Pale View of Hills” that the movie is based on.

“A Pale View of Hills” will be released September 5, 2025 in Japan.

Park Min-Young, Park Hee-Soon, & Joo Jong-Hyuk are cast in Coupang Play drama series “The Confidence Man KR.” Drama series is based on 2018 Fuji TV drama series “The Confidence Man JP” that stars Masami Nagasawa, Masahiro Higashide, and Fumiyo Kohinata. In “The Confidence Man KR,” Park Min-Young will play genius con artist Yoon Yi-Rang. She works with James (Park Hee-Soon) and Myeong Ku-Ho (Joo Jong-Hyuk) as the swindler group The Confidence Man. They target evil people and groups.

Choi Jin-Hyuk & Oh Yeon-Seo are cast in Channel A drama series “I Have a Baby” (literal title). The romantic-comedy drama series is based on webcomic “Akika Saengkyeosseoyo” by Lee Jeong & Kang Ki. Setup for the drama series will have Choi Jin-Hyuk will play chaebol heir Kang Du-Jun. He has no desire to marry. Oh Yeon-Seo will play Jang Hee-Won. She is only focused on her work and also has no desire to marry. A one-night stand between the two lead characters leads to Jang Hee-Won becoming pregnant.

Drama series is based on webcomic “Chwisabyeong Jeonseolyi Dweda” by J Robin and directed by Jo Nam-Hyeong (“Tale of the Nine Tailed“). The military comedy script will have Park Ji-Hoon play main character Kang Seong-Jae. He gets transferred to Gangrim Post and begins to work as an assistant to Cook Yoon Dong-Hyeon in the cafeteria there.

“The Military Cook Becomes a Legend” will be available to stream sometime next year in South Korea.
