She is villainous woman in the Joseon era and given poison for her evil deeds. When she wakes up, she finds herself in the present day and in the body of Shin Seo-Ri, who works as an obscure actress. Heo Nam-Jun will play Cha Se-Kye. He is a chaebol heir and notorious for his rude behavior.

“Wonderful New World” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.

Story for “Assassin(s)” will revolve around the August 15, 1974 assassination attempt on the Korean president Park Chung-Hee. He survived the attempt, but his wife died from a gunshot.

Teaser poster and release date set for TVING drama series “Spirit Fingers” starring Park Ji-Hu and Jo Joon-Young. Drama series is based on webcomic “Spirit Fingers” by Han Kyung-Chal and directed by Lee Chul-Ha (“Unlock My Boss“). Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Song Woo-Yeon (Park Ji-Hu) is an ordinary high school student, who isn’t special in any specific thing. Her mother always put her older brother and younger brother before Song Woo-Yeon and her opinions are usually ignored at home. Due to this, Song Woo-Yeon doesn’t express her feelings and she has low self-esteem. 

One day, a good looking man on the street asks her to pose as a model for a group of people. The man is Koo Sun-Ho (Choi Bo-Min) and the group are members of sketch club Spirit Fingers, including their President Nam Geu-Rin (Park Yoo-Na). Song Woo-Yeon poses on the street for them, but, unlike Song Woo-Yeon, the members are full of individuality and seem to get along well. This leads Song Woo-Yeon to join Spirit Fingers. The members encourage and compliment Song Woo-Yeon, which causes her self-esteem to grow.

Ren Meguro is cast for the lead role in live-action film “Sakamoto Days.” Movie is based on manga series “Sakamoto Days” by Yuto Suzuki and directed by Yuichi Fukuda (“Saint Young Men“). Story for “Sakamoto Days” will have Ren Meguro play Taro Sakamoto. He is a former assassin, but is now retired and has a family. To portray Taro Sakamoto, who gained weight up to 140 kg, Ren Meguro underwent special makeup for 4 hours a day when filming.
