Yim Si-Wan & Seol In-A are cast in tvN drama series “My Guilty Man” (literal title). Drama series is based on web novel “Yeojain Girl Wae Moreuji?” by Lee A-Hyun & Ryu Do-Ha. “My Guilty Man” is set up as a thrilling romance between a chaebol heir, who becomes a suspect in a murder case, and his personal secretary, who is actually a detective. Yim Si-Wan will play third generation chaebol heir Yoon Yi-Joon. Seol In-A will play Kang Jae-Hee. She disguises herself as a man and goes undercover as Yoon Ji-Yoon’s personal secretary. Park Dan-Hee (“Tastefully Yours“) will direct the drama series.
“My Guilty Man” will air sometime next year in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yoon Yi-Joon (Yim Si-Wan) is a successor of the Taegang Group, which is the top conglomerate in South Korea. He seems perfect, with attractive appearance and highly capable abilities, but his intense sensitivity and perfectionist personality drives his employees to quit. One day, a murder case takes place at Taegang Group. After becoming the prime suspect in the murder case, Yoon Yi-Joon confines himself to his home. He hires a new personal secretary, Kang Jae-Hee (Seol In-A) and finds his life changing.
Kang Jae-Hee is a detective and a former special forces member, trained in various martial arts. To uncover the truth about Yoon Yi-Joon, she disguises herself as a man and goes undercover as his new personal secretary. She experiences an unpredictable daily life, due to her cranky and volatile boss Yoon Yi-Joon. As they spend more time together, they discover unknown sides of each other and their relationship crosses a delicate line between romance and bromance.
