Trailer and poster added for movie “Mt. Fuji and Happiness Code” starring Issei Mamehara and Yoshie Ichige. The film revolves around a young man, Takuma (Issei Mamehara), who moves in with his grandmother (Yoshie Ichige) after her husband passes away. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Hiraku” performed by boy band JO1. The song is written and composed by Motohiro Hata. The movie’s lead actor Issei Mamehara is a member of JO1 and the track “Hiraku” is featured in the trailer as well.

“Mt. Fuji and Happiness Code” will be released October 24, 2025 in Japan.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Takuma (Issei Mamehara) is a university student with a warm heart. After his grandfather Takashi (Kyozo Nagatsuka) passes away, he becomes concerned about his grandmother Fumiko (Yoshie Ichige). Takuma decides to move in with Fumiko and they begin to live together. One day, Takuma finds a university admissions guide in his grandfather’s study room. That is a surprise left behind by Takashi for his wife Fumiko. In her past, Fumiko dreamed of learning in school. She didn’t get that opportunity in her youth. Thanks to her late husband’s surprise, Fumiko is able to live out her dream of attending classes. Meanwhile, Takuma isn’t sure what he wants to do and he worries about his future. He discovers a mysterious formula written in his late grandfather’s notebook, who admired Mt. Fuji.
