Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Lee Ji-An (Yum Jung-Ah) is a single mother, who has lived firmly with her confidence as her weapon. Lee Ji-An works as a construction site manager, who controls everything that goes on there. Her daughter is Lee Hyo-Ri (Choi Yoon-Ji) and she is a medical school student. Lee Hyo-Ri is the pride of Lee Ji-An’s life and she means everything to her. Things change for Lee Ji-An when her daughter begins to rebel and Lee Ji-An’s first love enters her life again.
Her first love is Ryu Jeong-Seok (Park Hae-Joon). He is a single father and lives peacefully with his son Ryu Bo-Hyeon (Kim Min-Kyu). Ryu Jeong-Seok’s peaceful life changes due to Lee Ji-An and her daughter Lee Hyo-Ri, as they suddenly barge into his life. Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Woo-Sung (Kang Ha-Neul) is an ordinary office worker in his 30’s. He has succeeded in buying his own apartment, which was his lifelong dream. To buy the apartment, he used all of his savings, took out loans, and even used his mom’s garlic field. He is now struggling to pay off the high-interest loans. Making things worse, he suffers from persistent noises from neighboring floors. Due to the noise, he has sharp confrontations with his neighbors. Woo-Sung then teams up with his upstair neighbor Jin-Ho (Seo Hyun-Woo) to find the source of the sounds. Ryusei Yokohama and Suzu Hirose are cast in movie “Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku.” Movie is based on 2022 novel “Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku” by Yuu Nagira (“Wandering“) and directed by Michihito Fujii (“The Journalist“). The film will be set on a scenic island in the Seto Inland Sea. Ryusei Yokohama will play high school student Kai Aono. He transfers from Kyoto to the island. Suzu Hirose will play Akimi Inoue. She meets Kai Aono on the island and they fall in love.
“Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Glass Heart” starring Takeru Satoh and Yu Miyazaki. The music themed drama series is based on novel “Glass Heart” by Mio Wakagi. The main cast (Takeru Satoh, Yu Miyazaki, Keita Machida, Jun Shison, and Masaki Suda) has reportedly spent over a year learning their instruments & singing to portray the fictional band TENBLANK in the movie. Meanwhile, the trailer also features for the first time the track “Glass Heart” that was composed by musician Yojiro Noda and performed by actor Takeru Satoh. That track appears in the second half of the main trailer.
“Glass Heart” will be available to stream from July 31, 2025 in Japan.
