Yukiya Kitamura & Yukie Nakama are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Chiisai Koro wa, Kamisama ga Ite.” The heart warming comedy-drama series is scripted by Yoshikazu Okada (“Second To Last Love“) and directed by Mai Sakai (“We Don’t Know Love Yet“). For “Chiisai Koro wa, Kamisama ga Ite,” Yukiya Kitamura & Yukie Nakama will play a married couple. Around 19 years ago, they promised they would divorce when their child becomes 20 years old. The husband believes that promise was made as a joke, while the wife has held on to the promise.
“Chiisai Koro wa, Kamisama ga Ite” will first air October 9, 2025 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Thursday 10PM time slot after “Learning to Love“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Around 19 years ago, an incident led Wataru Ogura (Yukiya Kitamura) and his wife An Ogura (Yukie Nakama) to promise that they will divorce when their child turns 20 years old. As time goes by, Wataru Ogura believes that the promise was made as a joke, but An Ogura holds on to the promise as a source of comfort. While having completely different emotions, they live normal daily lives with their two children. On a stormy night, Wataru Ogura thoughtlessly talks about their promise to the other residents of their apartment complex.
