Release date updated for movie “Emergency Interrogation Room: The Final” starring Yuki Amami, Tetsushi Tanaka, & Mokomichi Hayami. The movie is now scheduled for release December 26, 2025 in Japan. Meanwhile, prior to the movie’s release, TV Asahi will air a 5th season of “Emergency Interrogation Room” from October, 2025. The 4th season, which aired in 2021, ended with the special investigation team Kintori disbanding, but the 5th season will have the team reuniting. The team is led by self-made interrogator Yukiko Makabe (Yuki Amami) as she engages in a back-and-forth psychological battle with dangerous criminals.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Japan falls into emergency state due to a series of devastating typhoons. Prime Minister Yojiro Osanai (Ennosuke Ichikawa) arrives about 10 minutes late for a disaster management meeting. Hiromichi Morishita (Kuranosuke Sasaki) criticizes the Prime Minister’s tardiness and makes a surprise attack on Yojiro Osanai. The special interrogation team Kintori, including Yukiko Makabe (Yuki Amami), begins to investigate the Hiromichi Morishita case, but Hiromichi Morishita doesn’t say reveal his motive and demands a meeting with Prime Minister Yojiro Osanai.
